The amazing team at We Are Seventeen brought us on board to bring our expertise in art direction and 2D animation to this stunning piece for Tissot. The project celebrated the collaboration between Tissot’s iconic PRX model and UFO Robot Grendizer, the legendary Japanese manga character from the ’70s.

Directed by the talented Gary Roberts, the vision was to seamlessly blend the hand-crafted 2D aesthetic of the original Grendizer anime with the high-end real 3D product world of Tissot. We were involved from early stages developing the film’s look and feel, merging our expressive 2D style with We Are Seventeen’s cutting-edge 3D work. The result was a stylized hybrid film that pays homage to Grendizer’s heritage while elevating Tissot’s latest timepiece.
